The Voyager missions used gravity assists from giant planets to bend their paths outward. Voyager 1 visited Jupiter and Saturn; Voyager 2 went on to Uranus and Neptune.

Voyager 1 entered interstellar space on August 25, 2012.
Voyager 2 entered interstellar space on November 5, 2018.
